lyrics

Seven little tailors

Seven little tailors
Sitting in a in row
Stitching on pockets
And chatting as they sow
Nimble spoke to Ernie
Dimple spoke to Fred
Rubin dropped his thimble
And getting up bumped his head
The moral of this story
Is one to concentrate?
Because the very next day
Dimple spoke to tringle
Leaving work with Pimple
And trapped his toe in the gate

The Euro

I went to France
With a pocket full of pounds
I went in a shop
The shopkeeper frowned
I gave him my money
He looked in despair
So I gave him some more
He fell back in his chair
Is there a problem?
He said give me Euros
Euros I said
Take these instead
He looked at my coins
As if they were dirt
I grabbed them back
I felt so hurt
As I went to leave
He shook his head
When you come back my friend
Bring Eros to spend
